Education

Education

the process of teaching or learning, especially in a school or college, or the knowledge that you get from this:

That is the dictionary definition of Education.

Enlightenment. purposeful, soul-nourishing, experience, invoke's ones thought and true emotion, that is my definition of Education.

I found it funny how one love to contradict themself. And I guess that is of my nature to do so. I always preach that education is important but life experience is more important but then I realised that through life experience, it is actually a form of education as every experience or life events EDUCATE some sort of knowledge or similar stuff into you.

And for that I want commerate institutions education, the schools that I have been to.

Previously , in my earlier days of blogging, I mention how hard my life was , the series of unfortunate events I have been through and so on. But , I realised that I left out some of the happiness part of my life that I am grateful for.

I am thankful that I was able to be educated in heart-warming institutions with kind teachers and a good support system.

I wasn't always the smartest student nor the popular kid. I was always the nerdy but lacking in academic result, the quiet but doesnt really get things done kind of child.

Fortunately, I landed in schools that encompasses of some teachers that helped me greatly in personal and academic growth and ofcourse a good peer support system to whom I am still friends with and forever grateful for.

The first school that I really want to thanks is my alma mater, Assumption English School. For the teachers that I have cross path with, guided me a lot in terms of emotionally and personal growth. They teach me values that I will forever keep into heart, like being kind, gracious, forgiving and so on. For that, I always felt a sense of belonging to serving the under-served community and inclined me to do more charity work willingly.

The one that taught me practical work skills and communication is Nanyang Polytechnic. I love how warm the school environment is and also the kindness they show towards students whom are struggling academically or financially.

But ultimately , I want to give the greatest thanks to Singapore Education System, for they have taught me many knowledge and skills that I will come to use in the future, now.

Though I am always still improving myself and have many flaws. I am grateful that I was bought up in schools that nourish not only my mind but soul.

For that, I find that being an Educator is hard and thank you to all Educators !!
